Following Oral Directions

Following directions relies on focused listening and auditory memory. This resource includes strategies to teach students, suggestions for teachers to improve students’ ability to follow directions, and activities to practice following spoken directions. Activities can be teacher-to-student or student-to-student. Suggestions for extension activities in English Language Arts are provided.
