About the Author
Melanie Paticoff Grossman, M.S.D.E., is the creator and editor-in-chief of Hearing Our Way magazine, an engaging educational publication for children, teens, and young adults with hearing loss, their friends, families, and professional support networks. She earned her master’s in deaf education from Washington University in St. Louis’ Program in Audiology and Communication Sciences (PACS) and bachelor’s in deaf education from Fontbonne University. Melanie is also the author of Sophie’s Tales, a children’s book series about a little dog with a cochlear implant. Grossman resides on Long Island, NY, with her husband and two children.
