Literacy Boosters + Learning about Hearing Loss & Devices
We want students with hearing loss to be able to speak confidently when asked questions like: “What are those things on your ears?” or other questions related to their hearing loss. We are fortunate to have some popular books to help children, their families, teachers and classmates understand more about hearing loss, hearing devices and communication needs. I am excited to share these tools that take a book one step farther by providing structured activities to increase literacy, self-advocacy and knowledge. What a great idea! Karen Anderson, Director
