Inclusion – Factors that Make it or Break it

Every parent and teacher want children with hearing loss to be successful in the classroom, both academically and socially. There are benefits to including students with disabilities in their neighborhood schools and having them be fully included in mainstream settings. Yet, students with hearing loss have unique needs that are often overlooked or minimized due to the low incidence nature of this learning challenge.
