Webcast presentations allow the Deaf/Hard of Hearing Professional to further their knowledge and earn CEUs on topics related to addressing the needs of children with hearing loss. Cost – only $20 to view a 60-minute webcast.

CEUs will be available for participation in almost all 30- or 60-minute Webcast presentations. To obtain CEUs or download a Certificate of Participation each participant will need to pass a brief exam (8 out of 10 questions correct).
A downloadable Certificate of Participation will be provided suitable for verification for local/state certification requirements.
Listening and Spoken Language (LSLS) CEUs from the AG Bell Association will be available for each webcast course. An AG Bell Academy CE Credit Request Form will be available for download for each webinar for those who desire to submit the course to AG Bell as a part LSLS certificate requirements.
Although ASHA CEUS will not be offered, participants successfully completing each course will be able to download a Verification of Attendance form that will be accepted as documentation of attendance for the ASHA Certification Maintenance professional development requirement. The form is provided for interested ASHA certificate holders to document Certification Maintenance Hours (i.e., employer-sponsored in-service activities and other organizations’ continuing and professional development activities).

Individuals: 60-minute webcast presentation $20
Credit card or PayPal only; no purchase orders accepted for individual viewing of webcasts. Tax to be charged to Minnesota residents only.

Group purchase options are available for school districts or university staff interested in presenting multiple 60-minute webcasts as a part of the continuing education of their staff or preservice training within one academic year (August – July). A one-time use of a link to each of the webcasts selected by the site would be provided along with Certificate of Participation template specific to each session. The course assessment questions can serve as points of group discussion. Does not apply to professional conferences. Participants interested in receiving LSLS CEUs following viewing of a group webcast would do so individually by submitting a $10 fee via check, a completed assessment form and signed their Certificate of Participation with the signature of a school administrator/training facilitator. Those passing the assessment, submitting a locally signed Certificate of Participation and the $10 fee will be emailed the form to submit to AG Bell to receive LSLS credit.
Why webcast presentations and not live webinars?
First, busy people often do not have the flexibility of attending live webinars. Second, most webinars are really not very interactive, leaving only a few minutes at the end for questions. Each Supporting Success webcast presentation will be followed by a period in which participants can email Supporting Success with their questions for the presenter. An FAQ document will be developed over time, if needed, and will be able to be downloaded by future participants. We believe that this format will allow more particiapant’s to have their specific questions answered and may provide feedback about how the presentation could be improved or the need to develop an additional webcast on the topic.
Webcast Presentation Broad Topics – Make Your Own Workshop!
The webcast presentations will be offered in broad topical areas. The addition of new webcast courses over time will result in Workshops of 3 or more hours. Participants can choose to take as many of the webcast presentations as they want. See the Broad Topic areas – still under development.
