I was at a speaking engagement in Kansas and an educational audiologist shared TJ’s Story with me. It is a very powerful message – straight from a child who is struggling to hear, communicate, and fit in.
This story is worth sharing – as a way to introduce student needs to a classroom teacher, as a means to open discussions about feelings between a child and parents, and as a way to motivate skill building for self-concept and self-advocacy.
I think every professional who works with children who are hard of hearing should have TJ’s Story!
I feel so strongly about getting TJ’s Story into your hands that I have made it available at the cost to produce.
